Jim Smith - December 30, 2024 in KC.
I enjoyed a great afternoon & BBQ in Kansas City with Valerie Harrell & son James Skivers.
We shared a lot of stories & laughed a lot. This was just one of those special days for me.
Valerie Harrell has been so much help for the GMMG Registry over the years. Thanks Val.
I wish I could have met & known Dick. I knew of him but never got to see him race.
James was there on the GMMG Dick Harrell delivery Day.
He is going to look for some old photos from back in the day.
A little trivia................
If you note:
All 30 Dick Harrell's are signed by the same people & in the same place.
Can you identify all the signatures?
James signed below Valerie & to the left of Grandma Elaine Harrell. (Three generations)
If it wasn't for Matt Murphy's & Valeries vision, there never would have been any GMMG Dick Harrell's. The Sunoco wide body was the inspiration.
Please share your DH stories & any old photos from back-in-the-day.
Enjoy.
Dennis Barker was there back in the day.
Welcome to the new GMMG Registry forum! Hopefully this new forum should be easier for everyone to register, login, navigate, and post!
