I am going to this show. I have not been there in a few years. A friend of mine wanted me to go so I will. A F-body club I belong to will have some cars on display there. For having a club display we got tickets discounted at $12. I think ther are $20 regular price. Is anyone from this board going? There will be some celebrities there as well. :)

So Saturday was the perfect day to go to the Autorama. Of course Richard Rawlings was scheduled to appear but was a no show. I did get to see Linda Vaughan, Chip Foose and Troy Trepaneia (sp) as well as some other classic hot rod builders. Chip Foose had a 1965 Impala 2 door hardtop there that he basically took a brand new C6 Corvette and reskinned the Corvette with this Impala that has every body panel custom shortened to fit and it had the Vette dash , seats and doors. Even had a factory nav unit. It was sweet. They had a clean stock 1965 Impala SS next to the custom car so you could see all of the changes. That show was so crowded the Cobo roof parking was full when I got there. I had to park blocks away and walk.
