I attended the car show hosted by RCR @ their Impressive Complex in Welcome, NC. I drove my '66 El Camino and got a great spot to park. Long time 'Gas Man' for Dale Earnhardt Sr. Danny 'Chocolate' Myers signed my truck. Kool!..Emoji

Yes Jim. Chocolate was a Major Crew Member and the guy that fueled Dale's cars through-out his 7 Nascar Cup Championships. Note that each fuel can weighted about 80 Lbs and 2 were required each pit stop. He handled them as if they were 5 pounds each.. .



Chocolate (real name Danny Myers) has worked for Richard Childress since 1969. He is currently the curator of the RCR museum and Director of Safety @ RCR. He is happily married to his wife and has 2 grown children. He lives on Lake Lure, NC in a Large Log House and is very active in charity events as well as being a self proclaimed Christian.
