Mike has agreed to fly to Minnesota for a Test & tune (like JD's) this spring. Thinking of May BUT not around F-Body Gathering dates in Atlanta.

http://forums.gmmgregistry.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=859

We could split up the costs.......travel, tuning, Mike's expenses.

I'm looking for more GMMG's. If your car HAS NOT been reprogrammed with the updates software you run the same risk as I did with HRE 2000 - (a damaged or blown motor ........ A new LS1 block & rebuild cost meover $15k )

We need to pick a date that works, send in a deposit & let's schedule this with Mike Carnahan.

I know there are cars in the general area.......... WHO'S IN?????

DEI #82

PE #41 - Mike P - Yes

35th BB #2

35th BB #12 - Luke - Probably?

Jim's 7 GMMG's

Who else???? Vince & Sally? -- Aarom Thornton - BB #34? ZL1 #20?? BB #6??
Dick Harrell # 9, 18 (Organic Green) #27 (Vic Edlebrock's) - Bobby Labonte Blackbird #38 - Johnny Benson Berger SS #72 - PE Brickyard PR1 (red) - DHPE#4 Brickyard - silver - DEI #54 - 3 of 4 'real' 2000 Daytona 500 GTP Pace Cars

I am definitely interested, I was in contact with Mike a couple weeks ago about getting him up here to tune my car. This could be the perfect scenario. Of course I have a few questions the two big ones at this point would be location and a ballpark cost possibly. Keep me posted as you move forward with it. Thanks!

Andy asked about cost.............. here's only a guess........... split Mikes expenses .........assume 10 cars.....maybe $100/car

Tune..... in the $400 - $450 range........... We will get more info later.

Total? $500 - $550

Aaron: How much was JD's? They set up a DYNO - we won't have one.
Dick Harrell # 9, 18 (Organic Green) #27 (Vic Edlebrock's) - Bobby Labonte Blackbird #38 - Johnny Benson Berger SS #72 - PE Brickyard PR1 (red) - DHPE#4 Brickyard - silver - DEI #54 - 3 of 4 'real' 2000 Daytona 500 GTP Pace Cars

Yes...... My place on Half Moon Lake...... No DYNO but I have a lift.

Mike said he does not need a DYNO...... That's for anyone that wants bragging rights on their HP.
