My name is Scott "Sky" Smith, I own SkySmith Insurance Agency. I met Jim Smith probably 30+ years ago. Through the years I have insured his cars and numerous referrals from him for the same types of vehicles.



My background also includes a teaching degree in Industrial Education (I taught auto mechanics and metal shop for years). I have authored four books, the most recent was “How to Build a Hot Tuner Car” available through Motorbooks International. I attend and speak at a number of cars shows around the country.

Do you insure cars in Michigan? Besides my Brickyard 400 I have a 1971 Pontiac GT-37 (poor man's GTO Judge) and my son has a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta with a LS6 454.
