Their Unofficial Motto is "I went to a Party and a Car Show Broke Out"
G19 At a quick glance..
WHAT:
Held at the Atlanta Marriott North West Hotel. The hotel offers sprawling space for everything we do and allows you to come an join and and not be forced to travel to alternate locations to join in the fun! The entire event is based from this location including the Car Show, Awards Show, Auction, Vendors and Parking Lot get-togethers. We will be offering off-site cruises but the hotel is considered "Home Base". Shopping facilities and restaurants are a convenient drive around the area. Several of the area restaurants offer participants discounts during the course of the event as well.
The Gathering was designed for the F-body enthusiast to join with friends in a relaxed atmosphere and have nothing but 3 days of chill time so leave the day-to-day drudgery behind and join us. Everything here is optional in terms of your level of participation. YOU decide.
WHO:
The Fbody Gathering is open to all owners of all year models of the Camaro & Firebird (F-Body) cars. This year we also invite our friends who own C4 thru C7 Corvettes and also our friends with LSx (2004-2006) Pontiac GTO's to participate.
WHEN:
The event dates are May 22-24 2015
HOW MUCH?:
Vehicle Registration is $44 per car by May 5th or $49 at show
Hotel Registration is: $89 per night.
HOW DO I JOIN?:
1. Register for the Event Online. http://fbodygathering.com/index.php
2. Contact the Hotel and Secure your Room for the weekend. http://fbodygathering.com/hotel.php
3. Call your friends and tell em' to get ready for a Road Trip.
4. Get yourself the most comfortable, awesome Lawn Chair you can find. Fill your ride with Gas and Get ready for the most laid back event you've ever been too.
-- You can park with whoever you like- the different color window cards determine your class-- This event is only 20 minutes from where GMMG used to be as well as near Carl Black Pontiac where the BB's were delivered. SO if you want to drive by the old building or the dealer for some pictures, it's not too far out of the way. Saturday Night really does become a party atmosphere to the point it's almost too much for a family event. The last several times I attended we got together 20 people or so and attended the Atlanta Braves Games. The Hotel even arranged a shuttle for us for about $10 a head round trip. I've seen a low of 265 cars to over 400 depending on the price of fuel. I also met the orginal owner of my car one year at the Varsity Cruise. Ever seen 250 Camaros & FireBirds going down a 4 lane highway on a light traffic Sunday Morning? Indescribeable.
I've only had one issue with the show and it's that they list GMMG's as modified and put them in a class where others highly polish there engine compartments versus a stock patina. So, I enter in the Reunion Class.
Scott Settlemire- FBodFather, shows up every year with some really cool toys, prototypes and offerings from the GM archive for the auction.
It's also a whole month before Camaro Nationals, so you'll have time to recover and attend the other show as well. Unfortunately, my schedule at sea won't allow me to be there this year, but If I were home, I'd be there.

"A Camaro looks like it can kick your ass, A Firebird looks like it's coming to do it."
