Jim,

I'm very happy to hear that you are satisfied with the car. I know the paint job is hard to describe and you really need to see it in person to appreciate.

I know JB is going to a great home! It will be my new favorite car in your collection ;)

Thanks again and I hope you go out and enjoy the car more then we did! It deserves it! Jason

I was going over the paperwork on the Johnny Benson Chrome Illusion SS #72 & found this information in the paperwork.

I thought some may find it of interest......... CLEANING Fiske Wheels ... I'd guess this would apply to some other GMMG wheels.

Every Fiske Wheel has it's own unique serial number & I have this information for SS #72

Dick Harrell # 9, 18 (Organic Green) #27 (Vic Edlebrock's) - Bobby Labonte Blackbird #38 - Johnny Benson Berger SS #72 - PE Brickyard PR1 (red) - DHPE#4 Brickyard - silver - DEI #54 - 3 of 4 'real' 2000 Daytona 500 GTP Pace Cars

You are correct. The Fikse wheels have individual serial numbers. When we purchased the car, I went ahead and registered the wheels with Fikse and should be in their database.

.....from..........Fuel Magazine ... Oct. 2010.........

Nick has more than GMMG's.......... A little history.....

Nick sold Dick Harrell #13 & Johnny Benson SS #72

Nick & his boys have other GMMG's.......(Jason owns JR8 & Scott owns SS #39)

#39 SS is SOLD - Super nice NBM at the right price........ Check out For Sale section......... His user name is smgristi............ You gotta check out this super nice SS.

I think Nick still has PE #9 Convert --- FOR SALE

Jason sold BB #3 some time ago.

A little burn out? Of course.... I wouldn't have expected anything less from Jeff.

Jeff know's how to do it!

Thanks for the kind words Jim. My dad's been in the car hobby for years so I've been fortunate enough to experience some rare and beautiful cars. I certainly feel fortunate.

We do still have Dale Jr and the 35th convertible. My brother Scott actually sold #39. I believe it was to a guy out of Alabama.

Your videos look great! JB sounds mean!

I fixed your tube link so that you can go into it from the GMMG Registry forum board too for you. :D (See on previous page)

That car is JUST SO BEAUTIFUL I can't get over looking at it. :auto-layrubber: :happy-jumpeveryone:
