I'm happy to announce that Lance Martin from Carl Black Pontiac has registered on the GMMG Registry Forum Board. I realize that Pontiac is no longer in existence but we used Pontiac in his user name to keep it simple and so that everyone would userstand who he represents.

Lance worked closely with Matt Murphy of GMMG when the BlackBird's were being built.

This is great....couldn't have come at a better time. I have a question which I can address to the whole forum for an answer. Did every Blackbird come marked with the "Carl Black Pontiac" decal on the driver side rear? It appears on some cars, and on others, not. I think it's a cool piece for the cars but I'm not sure if they were all like that. Anyone else know?

The answer is no. I have two cars and none of mine have them. They are petty cool though.

Thanks, that has been bothering me for a long time. Never could figure it out. I guess people must have added them after the fact. And yea, I've seen your two cars. Love the Year One BB. Actually, I've been looking at the one on here for sale. Very cool cars indeed

I have made several calls to the Carl Black dealership in regards to obtaining an original Carl black plastic license plate tag which shows Carl Black GMMC - Pontiac? They were plastic license plates with red lettering. I assume these were long gone once Pontiac was no longer a car brand. I was just hoping that somewhere / someplace that a couple were tucked away in safe keeping for a perhaps loyal GMMG - Pontiac owner who wanted to display another piece of history with the car. I did obtain a current metal Carl Black dealership license plate and a dealer tag awhile back. Much appreciated!!!
