Attended the "Gathering at the Grounds" last night with my friend Eric (99legend2rZ here on this forum board). The "Gathering at the Grounds" is a large "show & shine" at the Iowa State Fairgrounds held once a month through the summer. Here is some pictures of Eric's Chevrolet Legends Tour Z/28 and my Tom Henry Racing Camaro SS # 21.

I found a really cool place for an automotive photo shoot so today I shot several pictures of the Tom Henry Racing Camaro SS #21 as I am getting ready to get a "Car Show Board" made and I would like to have a good photo of the car on it. Here are all the pictures I took. I have a favorite (#29) but I'll see what you guys think and like.

Great spot for a photo shoot - the car looks great too!
Is that your new Smart Car hiding in the background? Traded the TH plus gave them some cash? Ha-ha!

Yesterday (August 24th) we attended Mid-West Camaro-Fest in Kansas City. They had their biggest show ever…………….174 Camaros. If you missed this show, you missed a fantastic show and a good time. It was a terrific car show and we had a very good time UNTIL we got just north of the rest area north of Kansas City on I-35 (on our way back home from the show) when we blew our driver's side rear tandem trailer tire on our car trailer. Could have been worse. Did some minor damage to my trailer. Will have to do some hammering and straightening as well as some buffing on my fender to try to get the scratches out of my chrome fender and have a rear clearance light to replace after I straighten out that area of the trailer where the tire coming apart punched it out.
Could have been much worse though. I had a terrific pit crew. Charlie (HOTROD1974) and his brother Ron hiked back up the interstate and directed traffic over into the passing lane and watched out for us as Bill S., my wife and I jacked up the trailer and threw one of my spare trailer tires on (yes.......this has happened to us before so we carry plenty of tools and two mounted spare tires plus an additional unmounted trailer tire). We came off like a well oiled machine. I don't think we were on the shoulder for more than 10 minutes at the most. Many thanks to Bill who pitched in and wasn't afraid of getting dirty to help me yank the old tire/wheel combination off and put the spare wheel/tire combination on. :bow-blue: :bow-yellow:
Now..................will have to get a new trailer tire............a new clearance light and do some buffing and straightening.
Like I said..................could have been a lot worse.
Anyway………………here are some pictures. I won CLASS CHAMPION in the Supercar class.
