Nice J.D., glad ya'll got home safe.

Is # 21 gonna be a Garage Queen or are you gonna actually stick your right foot in the radiator from time to time?

Craig.................it's a GMMG so it will most likely be a garage/trailer queen. I would like to keep it below 5,000 miles and it's got 4,695 miles on it now............so I may drive it a little..............but not much. :text-lol:

As a few of you that I "regularly" talk to know.......................since I purchased the Tom Henry Camaro SS #21 and have had a little time to play with it.................the "seat of my pants dyno" has been telling me that this car ISN'T 380 h.p. That was proved CORRECT today when I took this car and put it on a dyno. :D Using my last and best pull.....................the "common opinion" among "most" folks is...................the loss from crank to the wheels on a manual transmission car is 15%. With that thought in mind..............if you take my last and best pull..............370.7 horsepower to the wheels times 1.15 equals 426.305 horsepower at the crank and 374.5 torque to the rear wheels times 1.15 equals 430.675 torque at the crank :D

MY FIRST (1ST) PULL ON THE DYNO - REPORT

MY SECOND (2ND) PULL ON THE DYNO - REPORT

MY THIRD (3RD), LAST AND BEST PULL ON THE DYNO - REPORT

**************PLEASE BE KIND..........................this is the first time that I've ever loaded videos on You Tube so I'm sure alot of you here could have done a much better job of it than I did. :text-lol:

Often times the numbers from Matt were lower than the actual numbers. The DEI's are more than 381.

Dyno runs are fun & you get to hear the car as others do. Sounds great doesn't it?

The car looks great - have some fun & drive all your GMMG's.

If you ever see one of my cars on a trailer call the cops because it will be stolen!

Jeff.................the only engine mod that I'm aware of are Dynatech headers that Tom Henry Chevrolet added for the original owner. Other than that...............I believe the engine is just as GMMG orginally modified it. :D

The dyno videos are great. I'm glad you were able to post them to YouTube. Do you have any plans to get some quarter mile times? That would be fun.

As many of you already know................Tom Henry Chevrolet put a windshield banner on the Tom Henry Camaro SS cars that they sold and of course, when I took delivery of Tom Henry #21.............it too had a windshield banner on it. I don't know why Tom Henry didn't also put one just like it on the rear window.....................so................I had one made and installed on the rear window today along with a GMMG decal too. This same GMMG decal I had made and put on the rear window of my ZL-1 right after I took delivery of it in 2003.

REAR WINDOW

********And NO......................it doesn't obscure my vision out of the rear view mirror. I can't see any part of the decals in the rear view mirror at all. :D

Jim..................the ZL-1 was dyno'ed by Matt prior to delivery so I have no reason to dyno it again. The ZL-1 dyno'ed 420.6 h.p. to the rear wheels and 390.1 ft. lbs. of torque to the rear wheels.

I "might" decide some day to dyno the Intimidator SS but it isn't at the forefront of things I need or want to do. I wanted to dyno the Tom Henry car because I just knew that it wasn't 380 h.p. :D
