I received an e-mail asking about TH clones.

I am aware of two cars..........please add to this thread..........

One is a very nice silver SS. The owner is up front with everyone that it is a clone & it has been for sale a couple of times in the last couple of years.

The other car......... Boombox1 posted on LS1 & called me a number of times. I won't help anyone clone any GMMG.

He said he was going to do it no matter what anyone thought & when he wanted a brass GMMG door tag that was the end for me. He got real pushy & in my face. You all know how that works with me.

He called his car Tom Henry #33 (they only built 32 cars). #33 is a clone (or call is whatever you want) & is not the real deal. As far as I know the car was built. If anyone ever sees this car, please take photos & share. I know 'wake00' replied to his LS1 post.

LS1 post...................

Tom Henry ss! Who has one i need youre help.

First let me say that im not trying to offend any original tom henry owners. Im trying to clone my car into a tom henry ss. I know,I know people hate clones but in my defense when these cars were new i was only 16 and for obvious reasons it was way way out of reach for me hence my 84 blazer 2.8 first vehicle! But now im older i finally got my hands on a 32k artic white ss and what ive always wanted was a tom henry ss. So not to bore anyone anymore does anyone know where i could get the following?

1. Tom Henry ipc silver gauge face with logo
2. Rearview mirror specific to gmmg cars
3. high flow air box
4. all tom henry logos for the airbox and for the center trim bezel

Any help with this would be great also maybe dimensions on decals so i can have them made thanks. Please no negative posts i dont need this thread going to crap thanks.

Does anyone know what the gmmg tag on the a pillar where the door hinge is means decoded?

The one Jim was talking about I believe is my 2001 Pewter Z/28 with the help of both Matt Murphy and Tom Henry I was able to turn the car into a clone (always noted it was a 2001 Z/28 not a Tom Henry car). I have since sold the car it's located down in South Florida it was sold to the new owner as a Z28 with aftermarket parts added.

I have 2 spare GMMG Tom Henry Racing Airlid decals that Matt gave me I am selling them for $90 shipped for both PM me or shoot me an email at pewter2001z28@cfl.rr.com

The below link will take you to an inappropriate post on LS1Tech by "Boombox1".

**** Notice the guy doesn't even know how to use the english language properly (your vs. you are, i.e. you're).

Sean has always been upfront with his silver TH clone. Nice work .... The car looks great.

I can't say the same for the guy attempting to build #33 TH clone.

Nope not me he did contact me asking if I had any parts 4-sale I had some spare airlid decals I thought he had a real TH car at 1st he offered to purchase them I declined I would prefer they go to a TH GMMG owner as extras.

I had considered "tributing" a PE with my 35thLE but decided not too. The reason being did not want people to say I was trying to pretend it was real. I like Sean would always be upfront it was a tribute and not a real deal.

I spoke with Greg (camaro6662) a PE owner and told him I wanted to use the 35thLE emblems instead of PE emblems. He said he liked the idea but some may not.

The strage thing is this guy won't have Tom Henry's signature on that car either.

Just a FYI I have re-purchased my old 2001 Z/28 (last Saturday) in the above photos after the person I sold it to passed away. This time it will stay in the family again it's a 2001 Camaro Z/28 I cloned to look like a TH car but as always I refer to it and anyone that asks a 2001 Camaro Z/28.
