SOLD - SOLD - SOLD

2002 GMMG Performance Edition Camaro SS #37

Phase IIX / 475hp – B4C - 6 speed – 4:10 rear end gears

22,007 miles - Only 6,475 miles since the GMMG upgrade

Another amazing & perfect GMMG from the Jim Smith Collection

Florida car – Always stored in a climate controlled showroom with other GMMG’s

I have had a great time in this car & now it’s time to let someone else enjoy it & pass it along to a new owner.

One of 50 GMMG PE’s built (plus 2 prototypes)

ONLY silver B4C PE Coupe built

New 9.5 x 18 Torque Thrust II wheels painted @ GMMG

Almost new NITTO NT 555’s –
Front: 275/35ZR18 - Rear: 285/35ZR18

New GMHP LS7 Clutch, flywheel & pressure plate

I am selling my show quality limited edition 2002 GMMG 35th Anniversary Performance Edition Camaro SS with just 22,007 documented miles. This PE SS was built & upgraded to a Phase IIX – 475 hp @ GMMG December 9, 2004. PE #37 was taken to GMMG for the upgrade with 15,532 miles on it. It has only 6,475 miles since the engine upgrade. Most of these miles were on the 2010 Power Tour.

This is car #37 of 50 PE’s built. Berger Chevrolet in Grand Rapids, MI contracted GMMG to build these cars and in turn created some of the rarest and most desirable 4th Gen Camaros of all time. This car is an excellent example of one of these rare collector cars.

This 2 owner car has a spotless Carfax. The car is always in a climate controlled showroom, is very well preserved, always hand washed & detailed & a Battery Tender is always plugged in.

Paint and Body
The Sebring Silver paint on the car shines like new and is in great shape. It’s never been in an accident or had any paint work. There is not a dent or ding anywhere on the car. I would rate the paint itself a 9.9 out of 10 only because it’s not a brand new car. The car has almost new NITTO NT 555’s on the GMMG painted Torque Thrust II wheels. The undercarriage is nearly spotless - Florida car - Never seen any snow or ice. The car truly looks great and would be at home at any show or cruise in you carry it to! Always stored in my climate controlled Showroom with a Battery Tender on all the time.

Interior
The ebony leather interior is in amazing shape as well...a 10 out of 10..as it should be. The dash is mint and uncracked as are the door panels. The power windows and locks function as new as does the AC. The original Monsoon stereo system sounds great and the power antenna works great. Correct Performance Edition Floor Mats & Red Car Cover.

Drivetrain
The Phase II – 475 hp LS1engine (all numbers matching of course) cranks and runs perfectly...and is VERY STRONG! The Hurst equipped 6 speed manual transmission shifts great. The positive traction rear end is equipped with 4.10 gears. Exceptional performance & great mileage with the 6 speed. I have gotten close to 28 mpg on trips. The original GMMG chambered exhaust truly sounds AMAZING! The car drives out great and I have driven it a lot!

This car is a true collector’s car and has been treated like one its whole life. It’s been stored properly and maintained in a way to keep in like new condition. This car is the epitome of a late model high horsepower 4th Gen collector car!!!

If you follow the high horsepower GMMG's you already know everyone else is asking way more for their cars than PE #37.

PE #37 is really just about like a ZL1 Supercar EXCEPT it does not have the ZL1 badging.

B4C - same suspension - Phase IIX - 475 hp - 18" Torque Thrust II's - new LS7 Clutch - Like the ZL1's

Half the price of a ZL1.

Beautiful car Jim! I wish I had the cash to take it off your hands. I hope to buy a car out of your collection at some point in time. Until then, I will sit back and admire them. GLWS.

Beautiful car. The hardtop is what keeps me from seriously thinking about purchasing.

RE: PE #37 - Yea but the B4C & 18" wheels make it almost like a ZL1 for 1/2 the money.

HRE 2000 with the new motor is a T-Top - Have over $20k in motor & LS7 clutch & shipping. It was a $54k car plus another $20k now. A bargain @ $35k.

Mike Carnahan @ Vengeance did all the GMMG motors & he tuned & dyno'd it with the latest software. It really runs nice. Keep looking. Jim
