October 23, 2013 -
Fall is here & I really need to make some room for the boats. Contact me if you are interested before I list on E-Bay. I had a lot of fun in PE #28 this summer.
Jim
After driving the car for the first time today it will be real hard to sell but I need the room.
GMMG Forum members will have first shot at the cars before I officially list them for sale. $30k
The car is exactly like GMMG built it - correct in every way.
OMG - the new wheels look amazing.
2002 GMMG Performance Edition #28
Only Sunset Orange Metallic (SOM) of fifty PE’s built
(A very rare, high horsepower & collectible GMMG)
Phase 2X-6 – 500hp (Phase 2X with LS6 heads)
6 speed – T-Tops – Leather – 4:10 gears – Special GMMG Suspension
1 ¾’ long tube headers & stainless steel GMMG open chamber exhaust
The original owner traded the car in (plus a ’70 Z28) for a new 5th Gen ZL1.
PE #28 was at GMMG often getting little upgrades & detailing done because the owner was close by.
The Phase 2X-6 – 500hp engine upgrade was completed in 2007.
PE #28 has 44,334 miles BUT only 4k on the motor. MSRP was $49,215
Only 4,000 miles in last 6 years - about 675 miles a year since the engine upgrade.
The car has the correct GMMG Torque Thrust wheels & tires unless you would prefer the black wheels. (The previous owner installed the black wheels)
New BFG g-Force 275/40ZR17 tires - new Center Caps

I've been suggesting that the prices are on their way up & the Mecum Indy Auction - May 15, 2013 supports this theory. This is the 'real-world' with base motor cars bringing good money.
If you are interested in a GMMG you might consider buying one in the near future while the prices are still reasonable. It's a great time to buy a GMMG.
2000 GMMG Berger SS #20 - 375 hp (base motor) with 2,400 miles sold for $32,000 plus 7% buyers fee $2,240 = $34,240 plus sales tax & shipping.
2002 GMMG PE #2 Convert - 380 hp (base motor) with 17k miles bid to $40,000 & the bid continues. No sale at this time.
