Does it creek or rather a squeak when the suspension goes up & down?
It could be that the rear rubbers on the sway bar are old & dry & not your shocks. When they are dry they will squeak.
Before I would do anything I'd take them apart & apply a good grease everywhere & resemble.
I like wheel bearing grease because it doesn't break down in the wet weather.
This is a quick & inexpensive fix that I'd try FIRST.
I have done this on at least 4 GMMG's & it fixed the squeaking.
If you haven't done this yet on your GMMG you might want to consider doing it before the squeaking starts.
A strut tower brace will tighten up the entire front end.

no creak just slams and pops almost like the shocks and struts are going to come through the floor thats how bad it is now. def looking into getting replaced for next years season but trying to get my research done first. but that is something that is a good idea when im in that area i will do that as well.
thanks

ok guys after some research I think im going to go with the koni shocks and as far as the springs go eibach does sell the 3831.140 spring pro kit which is as stated by others used for the lt1 cars and there website says it lowers car 1.3in. I believe correct me if im wrong my paperwork says the eibach springs gmmg used lowered the car 1.5in so ill try to reuse original springs otherwise I guess use the current springs don't have much of a difference at .2in. also after yet more research ls1tech / stranosparts.com there is another pro kit for the ls1 3870.140 which is only 1.2in of lowering. Any suggestions?

that's what I was thinking with the konis but do the springs need to be changed with shocks or can I resuse originals if they are in good shape?

called eibach today and spoke with a guy named tanner and the gmmg3831.140 kit is a 1.5in drop that they made specifically for gmmg and the 3831.140 is a regular kit which has a 1.3in drop they do offer a kit for the Camaro/ firebird which has a 1.8in drop also which is part # 4.3138. so might try to stick with original springs if they are in good shape and just do shocks.
