Gentleman, is this car #9 for sale? If not, there are listings all over portraying it as for sale. I inquire, because i am going to look at one tomorrow which is being called #9!

If this truly is a scam, could you let me know?
Thanks!

Okay....................so it has #9 on the windshield. :text-lol: Actually in the Craig's List ad it says "an actual numbered pace/parade car that circled the track at the 2001 Indianapolis 500".
Again....................you're missing the point. It may be a Limited Edition Camaro SS but it is highly unlikely that it is a Performance Edition Camaro SS produced by GMMG, Inc. The forum board that you are making this post on is the "GMMG Registry Forum Board". The primary purpose of this forum board is to celebrate and discuss the cars that GMMG, Inc. of Marietta, GA modified and produced. :auto-layrubber: For one thing,...................the numeral "9" is wrong. GMMG didn't use decals like that on the windshield or the rearview mirror. When you look at it, see if it has the GMMG brass door tag in the driver's side door jamb. I'm willing to bet that it doesn't. If it does............then get back with me with the GMMG # off of the brass door tag and I can match it against the master list of GMMG cars produced and validate/verify it.
In summary.......................the car that you are looking at is more than likely a Limited Edition 35th Anniversary Camaro SS but not a 35th Anniversary Performance Edition Camaro SS. The #9 car that was being discussed in this thread is the real #9 GMMG Performance Edtion Camaro SS. While they may appear the same, you are confusing tangerines with oranges. :text-lol: They may appear to be the same............but they "are" distinctly different. While this particular car is a cool car that you're looking at in the Omaha Craig's List..........I'm sure it is not a GMMG produced Performance Edition Camaro SS.
It certainly "could" be the #9 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Camaro SS....................and I wouldn't know about that. Maybe you should make this same post and inquire about the car on the 35th Anniversary Camaro website. Check them out at http://www.35thLE.com
