We'll be heading back Saturday afternoon. Lacrosse and Sailing camp the following week.

So, only 5 GMMG confirmed, with 6 cars? No one's popping in along the way?

I just received this. What would anyone want to do? Time? Day? 1 or 2 hour Tour?

I'm still attempting to get the approval to get inside the track for photos of our cars like we did at Talladega. More to follow.........

Good afternoon Jim. We offer two types of tours that I will list below. The one hour “Feel The Thrill” tour goes out at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The two hour “Over The Wall” goes out at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Take a look and decide what tour you would like to do and let me know what time too. I will also need to know how many people will be in your group.

Feel the Thrill Speedway Tour

Our “refueled” Feel the Thrill Tour offers fans a close-up look at areas that are off-limits on race days. You will see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Garage, navigate through two infield race tracks, make your way down Pit Road and take a picture in Victory Circle. Learn the history of Charlotte Motor Speedway while enjoying a comfortable van ride around the Superspeedway where you will feel the full-tilt force of the 24-degree banking. Plus, visit zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte on this exciting tour!

Over The Wall Tour

The Over the Wall Tour is designed for the hard-core NASCAR fan. This intimate group tour includes all the details of the Feel the Thrill Tour plus exclusive additional features. In addition to a detailed visit to the zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte, you will have a walking tour through The Speedway Club and visit one of our 113 suites, Performance Racing Network (PRN) studios, and experience the breathtaking view of Charlotte Motor Speedway from the top of the Ford Grandstand. Later you will cruise down pit road and experience first-hand the feel of the 24 degree banking. Tour the Media Center and take a walk down memory lane as you view timeless photos of CMS history.

If you need any additional information, let me know.

Thanks for the info.

If anyone has any contacts at the track to get us to the infield for some photos, please try & set something up.

I'm thinking we should visit the track Friday morning & Rick Hendrick Thursday morning & NASCAR Hall of Fame Thursday afternoon???

Maybe a race shop Friday afternoon after Registration?

Ideas?

Burton Smith's son Marcus is the manager.

I just got the OK to visit Trigger & Tammy between Norwalk & Crown Point. It will be a short visit - 1 hour at the most.

Have you tried asking someone at DE Chevrolet? I wasn't planning on coming up until Saturday morning. I'd come up early for a confirmed appointment for a group track picture.
