July 22, 2021 - DHPE#4 will be joining the Jim Smith Collection

GMMG Engine upgrade (400HP with long tube headers) was done Sept. 17, 2007 @ 17,255 miles (about 3,500 miles ago)

Kind of an interesting story..............

My PE#37 & Derek's DHPE#4 were at GMMG at the same time for engine upgrades.

When PE#37 arrived @ GMMG it had the PE Football emblem on he back. (See FLA plate)

When I got PE#37 back the emblem was gone & not on the car

DHPE#4 did NOT have the PE football emblem when it arrived @ GMMG.

When DHPE#4 was delivered to Derek it had the PE football emblem.

Matt Murphy denied switching them but I am convinced Matt switched the back black panel. He did a lot of dumb things at the end.

This pissed me off & 13 years later I had to buy DHPE#4 just the get my PE emblem back. (Ha-Ha)

Aug. 24, 2021 - first drive - better than I thought.

Changed oil & checked everything over - looking good.

Transmission shifts are crisp & fast. Transmission was reprogramed & this made a huge difference,/b]

The transmission shifts quick, solid & right now. Perfect.

Was a shift kit installed? What?

Finally drove – got oil changed & checked everything over. Looks good.

When I had it Dyno tuned, we also bumped up the shift pressure so it gave a firmer shift. Glad you like it! Thanks for the update!!

Jim: Smart move - I know it wasn't stock shifting. Perfect!
