I will start this thread & others can chime in & add to the thread.
If you start a thread on the Forum someone will have the answer or know where to find the answer. Ask away!
For any GMMG owner that does not join the GMMG Forum they are out of luck until they join the other owners.
I won't give out any information to non-members until they provide their GMMG Door Tag & VIN #. Jim
ENGINES? Mike Carnahan @ Vengeance Racing built most of the motors for Matt Murphy.
Mike just did a test, tune & dyno day with 8 or 9 GMMG's @ JD's. (June 11& 12, 2014)
There could be issues with your motors & the tune ........ especially Phase II & above.
I'll ask JD & Arron Thornton to add to the thread.
OIL? I was told by Matt Murphy to use only Mobil 1 - 5W30 -
** You may want to plan on changing oil after reading the information?
There is new information about oil & PCM Tune after the test & tune. Again I'll ask Aaron & JD to add to the thread.
They have already posted about oil in the Technical Section.

GMMG CARS?
A few of us follow particular models closer than others. I won't say we are experts but we do have a lot of history, knowledge & build information from GMMG.
BLACKBIRD'S? -(any & all Blackbirds from Carl Black) - Jim Simon & Aaron Thornton
DICK HARRELL - DEI - TOM HENRY & ZL1'S? - JD owns one of each & he is my 'go-to'guy'
BERGER SS - PERFORMANCE EDITION - HOT ROD EDITION - DEI & WILDCARDS? - Jim Smith has owned around 15 GMMG's & I follow these cars
There are many others.......... please add to this thread. Thanks Jim Smith
Welcome to the new GMMG Registry forum! Hopefully this new forum should be easier for everyone to register, login, navigate, and post!

I have to disagree on using ONLY Mobil 1. Most modern oils meet the current API service rating which is SN. Example: Castrol GTX 5W-30. This and many others are more then adequate for LS1 & 2 motors.
The key to full synthetics is their extended change intervals NOT that they are superior to conventional lubes.
Alright Gents I've got my fire suit on, flame away at me and prove me wrong...
