Jeff Gassen ("thebodygod") and I had this conversation today.



He leaves his off. WHY?



Says that under hard acceleration the ASR applies brakes to keep the car under control. Hard on brakes & sometimes they can get hot.

I would agree with Jeff. The only car that I have that has ASR is my Tom Henry Racing Camaro SS and whenever I "feel the need for speed" I always try to remember to turn the ASR off. :D

For drag racing leave it off. Reason: The split second the sensors 'feel' tire slippage the 'puter pulls timing out of the motor.



I want ALL the HP I can get when I mash down on the Loud Pedal....... :mrgreen:
