Power went off at 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and was restored today (Friday) at 5:27 p.m. When I called the power company at 9:00 a.m. this morning (Friday), they told me it would be Sunday night before our power was restored. :angry-fire: :angry-jumpinganger: :angry-screaming: :angry-steamingears: :angry-teeth: :angry-tappingfoot:

Yeah....................the house was definitely cold. When we left this afternoon to go grab a bite to eat and to go over to her parents house to warm up for a little while it was 49 degrees in the house. The power was restored at 5:27 p.m. and when we came home at 7:30 p.m., it was up to 61 degrees in the house.

You gotta see the photos - post up JD.
That's the second reason I don't live in Iowa. The first is no lakes to water ski on. Just kidding JD.
You got a huge dump of snow & we're happy you didn't freeze up.

Jim........................wadda ya mean no lakes? :confusion-shrug: I live less than a mile from a very large lake. It is Saylorville Lake which is a large Army Corp of Engineers project lake.
