JD called & said he saw a GMMG T-Shirt on TV @ Mecum Indy.

The guy wearing it bought a black 1971 Dodge Super Bee..... Lot S98

Great coverage of the front & back of the shirt. Thanks for wearing your GMMG T-Shirt.

Who are you so we can put a face to your name?

Congrats on the great MOPAR.

One of the members send an e-mail that went something like this......... "I wish the auction numbers were stronger for GMMG's."

My thoughts are..........

An auction may not be the best place to sell a GMMG right now because very few people really know what they are. Our cars are still too new. Everyone has immediate recognition of Dick Harrell & ZL1 but not the GMMG name unless it's a GMMG DH or ZL1.

What can we do to increase everyone's knowledge of GMMG's?

GMMG T-Shirts worn at events will help? Encourage this.

The GMMG Registry certainly helps but this will just take time.

Maybe contact Mecum & Barrett Jackson & offer the Registry's services (kind of like consultants)?

Maybe they would consider some kind of a retainer for advice & the money could go to the Registry.

Wear your GMMG T-Shirt to all car events. People will ask & yo can tell teh story.

What are your thoughts?

Was it a GMMG shirt or a GMMG Registry shirt? I have a couple of GMMG shirts & Hats (MM Signed). I think the articles originally done on the cars were great. Maybe you could contact the original writers to do a where do GMMG cars stand against todays performance/pricing $ per hp or seconds of acceleration per $ spent. I think they still out perform new out of the box Camaros. Advertise the Registry in Trade pubs (Free public service section?) GM Perfomance, Super Chevy, Pontiac. Great idea about auction consultants, but as I see that business, it's about getting money, not giving. For the few GMMG cars that pass through, they'll just probably take their chances of talking it up that day.
