Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. My name is Brian Henderson and I'm addicted to cool cars! I haven't found a cure for it yet, and I'm not looking for one either. I'm having waaay to much fun.

I don't own a GMMG car, but I do have a 70 Chevelle SS 396 (stock) and an 02 35th Anniversary LE Camaro putting out 500hp at the crank "na".

If I had to pick a favorite GMMG car, it would have to be the #72 2002 JB Berger SS with the Chrome Illusion Blue/Green paint.

I'll post a few pics of my rides as soon as I figure out how to do it here. ;)

Welcome! :) I have seen the JB Berger SS many times at Berger before JB sold it. Expensive paint. I guess now that he runs a Toyota his fun is over. Heck I bet Berger helped put JB on the map in his early racing years.

Brian,

Nice to have you on board. I believe we are going to have some fun on THIS FORUM!! Brian's Camaro is a very nasty sounding and beautiful Camaro!!

I have an interesting story involving the JB car.

I purchased my Berger SS#21 in February of 2001. I was told someone had put money down on it but backed out and it was the last 2000 Berger SS available. I did drive it to work occasionally back then, and about 6 months after purchasing it, on the way home, I was rear ended (It was October 3rd 2001; you remember the day your GMMG car gets hit). It happens the accident took place about 2 blocks from Berger Chevrolet. I was able to drive it home and brought it in to Berger the next day for repair. One of the items to be replaced was the rear bumper under the rear fascia. The fascia was OK, just needing new paint. I was told it would be quite a while for the repair as the part was not readily available. I did not care since I was about to put the car up for the winter anyway. Well, by February I was getting a little antsy since I wanted to get it home and ready for the spring. The bumper was still not in, but the manager was apologetic since it was taking so long, and told me he could take the one off the JB car and use it for my repair since it was there not being used, and when my bumper came in he would put it on the JB car. As far as I know this is what took place.

I remember seeing the JB car at one of the Berger Chevy shows. The first time I saw it, I found it very hard to take my eyes off it. The color is amazing.

Welcome to the site! Post some pics of your car when you get a chance. They sound awesome!

Neat stories indeed! I would have loved to see the JB car at Berger. One of these days, we would like to bring it back up to Michigan... Hopefully for the Berger show
