I have had my Brickyard 400 at Rosies before after the Berger Show. :)

The first photo is a 1967 Z28 fielded by Gibbs Chevy and driven by Salesman Herb Fox. They along with Ben Wenzel ruled NHRA 'Stock' classes in the late 60's.



1967 was the first year for the Famous Chevy 302 cu. in. motor. It was the Brainchild of then GM general manager Pete Estes and used 'off the shelf' parts making the all iron motor economical to produce.



I love to hear those High-Revving Solid Lifter Motors 'Sing"...... :mrgreen:
