This past Thursday on my way back from New Alexandria, Pennsylvania after purchasing the Tom Henry Racing Camaro SS #21, I had the rare honor and privilege of getting to stop by and meet a large GMMG and SLP Camaro and Corvette collector in the Toledo, Ohio area. This gentleman is “Trigger”. Not only did I get to meet and talk to him but I also was introduced to his wonderful wife Bonnie and his delightful daughter Tammy who also share his enthusiasm for these cars. Trigger took time out of his busy day to talk to my wife and me and show us all of his cars as well as answer any questions we had about them. He is an avid collector of GMMG cars and SLP cars. He had Dick Harrell wide body Camaros, ZL-1 Camaros, Berger SS Camaros, Hot Rod Magazine Camaros and 35th Performance Edition Camaros. He also has an SLP Panther, an SLP ZL575 and a couple of SLP ZL-1’s too. In addition..............he has a couple of LT4 30th Anniversary Camaro SS's and he also has Matt's "Pumpkin" Camaro SS that Matt drove on an edition of Hot Rod Magazine television (I believe) to demonstrate the new Camaro SS in 1997. I also saw a "Skunkwerks" Corvette too while I was there. :D

Trigger is a very nice gentleman and certainly has a heart as big a Texas ! ! ! ! I gave him a GMMG License Plate as a token of my gratitude for entertaining us and he and his daughter Tammy gave my wife and I two hooded sweatshirts, and four t-shirts with the silk screen of their trucking company, Soul Road Auto Parts. We certainly left there with more than we took ! ! ! :D

If any of you surf Face Book, do a search for Soul Road Auto Parts and “Like” their page and while you’re there, look at the other pictures of their cars in the “Toy” photo album there.

He told me to pass along…………if any of you are traveling through the Toledo, Ohio area and would like to see his cars…………….get in touch with me here on the forum board and I will touch base with Trigger and see if I can get it arranged for you to stop by and see his car collection since he is a very, very busy business man running a large and successful trucking company.

Below are some pictures that I took. Enjoy. :auto-driving: :auto-layrubber:

Must watch video below on SLP car above.

Amazing collection - it's on my 'bucket list' of things to see.

JD - You are one lucky guy to see all the awesome cars.

I believe Trigger has the 'Standing mile 5th Gen record holder'. (not sure which one)

Is the 'SkunkWerks' Corvette the yellow or blue one? Any photos?

The black SLP Panther Convert is serial #01.

This collection is amazing & all high horsepower Camaro's, Corvettes, Mustang's & more.

Trigger: Will you adopt me?

Jim................as I remember................the "Skunkwerks" Corvette was the yellow one but I didn't take any pictures of it as it didn't particularly capture my attention. No.............I did not see the semi-tractor that you posted a picture of.

Hi, This is Tammy I am Trigger's daughter, to answer a couple of questions the standing mile car is in the pics it is the Silver Camaro, and sorry but the semi is something that I found on fb and posted it to the page because I thought it looked like something my dad would have as a daily driver lol. It is so nice to see the appreciation of cars that you all have. I will try to update the Soul Road Auto Parts page on fb when I get some free time, he has a lot more cars that I do not have on that page including the SLP pickup truck. Thank you JD for the kind words about my father, I think the world of this man, I watched him go from having nothing to....well you seen it. He has taught me so much. BTW Jim on the adoption thing no way I already have a brother and sister to share with lmbo
