I recently talked to Steve Gelnett who is currently the new car sales manager at Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC. I asked him the subject question and he infomed me that.........................................................

Dale's remains are in a marble mausoleum on the three square mile family farm located in Mooresville, NC.

Only a hand-full of family members and a few close friends (Richard Chlldress) know exactly where the tomb is.

Actually $60K is a bargain for a 501 cu. in. Super Charged Camaro. They are 'Bad To The Bone' in my eyes..... :)

Steve Gelnett gave me the inside info on them last time I talked with him. Currently, Earnhardt Chevy is only building them 'on demand' and had to turn down a request from a customer in Canada. Seems USA GM dealers can't sell there due to various trade agreements, union rules, etc. Go figure...... :?

Actually Craig.........................Steve told me yesterday on the telephone that they DID build one for the guy in Canada but they built is off of a USED Camaro so that they could send it to him in Canada
