#28 PE (SOM) - Phase 2X-6/500hp + Video's - was Jim Smith
PE #28
The correct wheels are finally on PE #28
It's so nice when things come together like this car has.............
First I have to thank Jeff ('super26') for letting me know about the car. He drove it a few days before I bought it & told me everything I needed to know to make the decision. Thanks Jeff.
I can't say enough good about Kris @ Everett Chevy in Hickory, NC. He went way over & above working with me & arranging delivery. The paint is great & Kris was spot on with this car. This dealership 'talks the talk - walks the walk' & does more than they say the will do. Great buying experience. Thanks Kris.
Ron from Heldt Trucking in Cameron, WI (45 minutes from me) delivered the car in an enclosed trailer. The car was barely dusty & just needed a rinse. Everett had the car detailed & I really did nothing but rinse it off. Ron runs to the east coast so if you ever need a car shipped I'd recommend him. (715) 642-1090 Cell - (715)-458-3336 - Office - Ron is another guy I'd use over & over.

The thing I like best about Sunset Orange Metallic (SOM) is that everytime you look at it the color is different. Look at the different lighting & how the color changes. This is the same car!
'USA UNO' my go to plate
Ok-OK - I'll start it up......... (Click on photo)
Click if other link does not work......[youtube:2pal58ws][/youtube:2pal58ws]
Upgrade invoices - MSRP was $ 49,215
Note engine upgrade was done @ 39,892 miles on May 24, 2007 (4,093 miles ago) - 5.5 years ago - 818 miles/year average since upgrade
The car is even better that I thought it might be. For any GMMG owners that are concerned with miles - here's what I have to say: "If a car is over maintained (like most GMMG's are) the miles mean nothing to me. The car does not show 43k miles & only 4,093 on the Phase 2X-6 - 500hp upgrade.
Needs air box PE decal
Dyno numbers before & after engine upgrade
Plenty of documentation.......
One nice surprise was a 12 Disc CD Player - If PE #28 is like the 475hp cars I won't be able to hear the music.
.....I'll get the car outside for more photos.......To be continued...........
The correct wheels are finally on PE #28

Yes Jeff you saw it & drove it first - but it's 500hp not 475. How was it by the way? - I moved it from the truck to the garage & it will be about 3 months before I drive it. I hope you burned the tires off it! I've been adding photos & videos for a few hours now.
More photos outside Sunday. PE #28 is a nice addition to the collection.
Go Packers!

Blackbird 34 - You are welcome to visit any time & polish all the aluminum on all the cars. I'll leave the door open & the keys in the cars.

Moved PE #28 to winter storage & took a few photos. Every time I look at the car it's a different shade of SOM.
I'm not used to the black wheels yet & am thinking the correct GMMG wheels will be going on soon. What do you think?
