I recently bought a HRE Camaro #1987 from the second owner and I was wondering what came with the car ?
Items I got with the car
1.HRE car cover
2.Hot Rod Test car door decals
3.original Chevrolet window sticker/Hot Rod gmmg window sticker
4. Hot Rod key chains with the car number stamped on them
5.gm Build sheet
I Have heard that the new owners received a jacket, hat and t-shirt was anything given out to the owners?

As I remember A member of the Western Michigan Camaro Club had coats, t-shirts and hats made up and for sale, but they did not come with the car. Correct me if a am wrong. When I purchased my HRE edition from the 1st owner, he was selling them separate from the car.

Thanks for the info Charlie, I have the original owners name and phone number so I may try to contact him to see if he has the jacket or hat as I have a t-shirt I bought at Berger in 2003 when the delivered the ZL1 Camaros.Ray

I was there with J.D. to pick up his Phase 2 ZL-1. Fun night when the two transported finally arrived at the dealership that night.

I have a couple of the Berger Chevrolet Hot Rod Camaro brochures still. No other Hot Rod Camaro items.

I am an original owner. 1-5 above is correct. There was also the tribute to Dick Harrell plaque under the hood and the GMMG plaque in the driver side door jam. To my knowledge there was no jacket or hat et. ( If you had foresight you could of had Dick Jaques, Mr. Berger, Matt Murphy, Mike Carnahan et al to sign under the hood or on the dash ).

My car has the brass tag in the lt door jamb and I was told the jacket was avalible from the western Michigan Camaro club but the owner had to purchase them .I have the t-shirt but I`am looking for a hat just to have one.I would also be interested in original photos from GMMG or from Berger Chevrolet from when the cars were being built or on the lot
