GMMG Cars For Sale guidelines

by daytonajim » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:07 pm

Everyone needs to understand that there is a cost to keep the Registry functioning. J.D. (4th Gen Camaro Addict) & Jim (daytonajim) have been covering all of these costs. (Domain Name, Web Sites, Event Promotion & other expenses)

In addition to annual web costs the Registry spent considerable money obtaining the GMMG, Inc. name & Trademarks. Jim Smith, Aaron Thornton & Jim Simon felt owning the GMMG name was critical so we spent the money to do it.

Any & all money goes right back into the Registry & it is non-profit. At some point in time there may be funds to do events. If we all help each other the Registry will be stronger.

If the Registry assists & you are a private party & buy or sell a car from the Registry we would appreciate an "at-will" contribution/donation to help with the Registry's on-going costs to keep it going. We all spend a lot of hours to help buyers & sellers get together - answering questions & providing additional information. We do this because of our commitment to GMMG’s.

How much?......½% of 1% of the sale price would be appreciated since that is what we have negotiated with our sponsor used car dealer here on the GMMG Registry Forum Board.

Example – Car sells for $30k – ½ of 1% = $150

If your car sells please notify the Registry so we can attempt to keep our records current & pass the Registry information along to the new owner.

Thanks ahead of time. We appreciate the help.
