RECEIVED DEPOSIT - CAR IS SOLD

1976 Lincoln Mark IV Lipstick Edition (special edition)

2,199 original miles

https://www.daytonapacecars.com/2020/09 ... nal-miles/

Never touched – 100% original & survivor
Never even been touched up that I can see
Plastic is still on rear set belts
Loaded with all the options – Aluminum Wheels
Original Bill of Sale Invoice - $14,337.24
Odometer (Mileage) Statement (0059) – May 26, 1976

Car is neat & clean. Minor detailing in engine compartment could be done.

Frame is nice & clean with no rust

There are a few rock chips on the leading edge of the hood (passenger side). After a lot of thought & conversations I've decided to leave them alone & not mess with a car that has had no touchup done & is 100% original. The next owner has the option to do what ever they want.

2nd owner’s mechanic just went thru the car (Aug. 2020) & buffed it
Rebuilt Carb - Changed fluids – checked brakes, transmission & everything else
No fluid drips – Tires are like new

Window sticker - Broadcast Sheet – Brass Tag - & many other docs

Two owners since new – less than 50 miles per year

1st owner – Bought new in May 22, 1976 @ Schneider Lincoln Mercury in St. Paul, MN
Husband died about 6 months after purchase
Wife put in storage for over 20 years. She never drove it

2nd owner – a pal of mine – had it around 25 years & kept it stored.
He used to own a Chevy Dealership in MN.
2nd owner had his mechanic go over the car – (August 2020) - rebuilt carb, changed fluids, checked everything, buffed, waxed & detailed

All storage was in a climate-controlled building since new & on a battery tender

This has to be one of the lowest mile & most original 76’s anywhere?
The car was just not driven very often.
It has been started at least a couple times a year while in storage & had short warm up drives a couple miles to insure everything was working OK.

The car really belongs in a museum.

Such a cool car. Definitely not many left like this.

That color is a crazy eye catcher.
