Just Purchased it. I think one of 4 T-Top cars. Phase II. Know some history. Any advice please let me know. 8K miles, someone went through this car front to back, it is flawless. has won the Trans Am Nationals at least once. Looks like maybe 40 miles put on her in the past 9 years. Original tires. Fluids? know oil was changed. The rest unknown. CETA "Stripes" on the side removed, I understand from the Factory. I kind like those! Again, if anyone knows anything about this car, would be much appreciated. Super excited.
Thank You,
John

Re: CETA #6
Thank you, Jim, will do that. This car does not seem to have much online history. I do have the previous owner so I'll try and contact him. I will check all fluids etc. Looks like it was driven a scant 43 miles in the last 16 years. Someone took this car apart and completely detailed under the car etc. Also, there is not one mark on the body, wheel wells, bumper, front facia etc. Not one! Can't drive a car 8,000 miles and not do something so I have to believe this car was completely gone through. It has won the Trans Am Nationals at least 1 time, possibly twice. I'll research. Would love advice on the cars, future values, etc. No, we do not buy these for investments, but this car is as close to a museum piece as any vehicle I have ever owned. I will take special care of it.
Thank you,
John

Re: CETA #6
I have all documentation with the car. Is there a way to determine what cam came in this car ? On the LS1 tech site, a Mike from GMMG stated that the Phase 2X cars could be ordered with 1 of 5 cams, picked by the original owner. See this thread. https://www.ls1.com/forums/f36/black-bi ... ge-136063/
Thanks,
John

Re: CETA #6
It really is, incredibly so. The previous owner took the car all apart and detailed it. I have all the documentation and pictures. Still trying to figure out what to do with it. Drove it the other evening, I cannot imagine having this car and not enjoying it. Previous owner put less than 30 miles on it in 16 years of ownership. It is spotless. Driving it may decrease the value, right ? But no fun to just look at this thing. I've had 4 Gen IV firebirds, Firehawks. NOTHING is like this thing. Makes me want to find another one!
