GMMG: THE SURGEON OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE 4TH GENERATION CAMAROS

Founded in 1998 by car enthusiast Matt Murphy in Marietta Georgia, GMMG made a reputation through collaborations with dealerships for a total of 9 editions. Together, they created high-performance special editions of 4th generation Camaros, including the famous Dick Harrell edition. THE DICK HARRELL EDITION: A LEGEND

Paying tribute to legendary driver Dick Harrell, nicknamed “Mr. Chevrolet” who tragically passed away on the track in 1971, this edition featured ultra-high-performance Camaros equipped with powerful engines ranging from the 400-horsepower 5.7L LS6 in Phase 1 specification to the endurance racing 7.0L Corvette C5.R engine, producing 630 horsepower in the Phase 3X and 680 in the Phase 5X, which commanded a price tag of over $25,000. The cars boasted an aggressive look with widened bodywork and a sportier, exclusive interior. All the Dick Harrells Camaros were sold though Berger Chevrolet in Grand Rapids, MI

WHY SO RARE?
Limited production was due to specific partnerships, high costs, and niche demand. Additionally, the modifications were complex and required more specialized expertise. Each of the 30 units was unique and numbered.

ABOUT THE CAR IN THIS PUBLICATION
