Hi everyone:
I'm Jim, 70 & have been retired 14 years, live on one of the cleanest lake in Wisconsin (Half Moon Lake) - married to Sandy (School Teacher) for 34 years - 2 grown & married sons.
I have great kids - they take after their mother.
I have an addiction to cars & currently have seven GMMG's & 3 of the 4 'real' 2000 Daytona 500 GTP Pace Cars.
'When I was a child I played like a child. Now it just costs more'
I've been working on the GMMG Registry, gathering photos & information for the archives a couple of years now. I spend over a week with Matt @ GMMG in 2010 going through his files & gathering information to start the Registry. I thought it would be important to gather as much information as possible before it is done forever. I think I was right.
I used to talk to Matt Murphy 2 or 3 times a week & then he vanished & we have not spoken in over 2 years. Matt: If you ever read this, please give me a call. You are missed by all the GMMG Owners.
I've always wanted to add a Forum Board to the Registry but didn't know how until JD called me last week. He's the man & this is the result of JD's effort. Please spend some time getting to know your way around the Forum. Hopefully the GMMG Forum will become the 'go-to' site for everything GMMG. With your support it will. I wish to welcome every GMMG Owner.
** I have over 8,000 photos in my GMMG library. Many of them are from Matt Murphy. It's very posible I could have a photos of your car @ GMMG. If you let me know what you have I could look to see if I have your car @ GMMG. - Jim Smith
I've loved cars since I was a little kid & grandpa taught me to drive when I was under 10. I've always had cars (well over 125) but nothing like the collection I have now. It's out of control @ 14. Sandy says she should be able to get $50 a car when I tip over. Matt & Rick have had some cool cars too.

Years ago I was a three event tournament water-skier & have a Master Craft Tournament Ski Boat - The engine? A LT1 - 330hp of course!
I'm always ready for an adventure - Call me if you have something to do. It's good to be me! All I really do is play now, snowmobile & water-ski..
I spend most of the winter snowmobiling @ our rental lodge near Jackson Hole & Yellowstone. I'll rind in the back country between 35 & 50 days every winter.
I'd guess I have over 120,000 miles on a sled since starting to ride in 1969. If you ever want to snowmobile in the mountains, see Yellowstone or Jackson Hole just let me know.

The kids tell me that they have 'The Home' picked out for me & that I'm getting close. The won't tell me where it is - just that I'm close now.
Rick is 30 & a Project Manager @ Veit & Krystle has her Masters & helps people with strokes learn to speak again.

Jim, thanks again for your efforts on the registry and forum. I’m glad we’re finally getting these things together. It amazes me that over 10 years have passed since these cars were new. Time sure does fly.
I also remember when Matt was easily accessible. I use to enjoy getting information on the cars. I guess one day he will reappear.

Harley only had room for 5 cars. He's trying a few things out ....... testing different options. More cars would have been too crowded.
