How many Dick Harrell' were actually built?

Post by daytonajim »

April 1, 2021 ---- work in progress

I have new information from the owner of DH #24 - Penske Blue & DH #11 Red

Up until now everyone including me thought the total was 30 built (plus prototypes).

Here are photos of DH #11 & the Penske Blue DH #24 @ GMMG that are nothing more than ‘shells’. This is how the cars still look like today.

Two DH’s are not built. Is this the same as if a car was totaled? They are just ‘shells’ that have been totally stripped of parts & will never be completed. Interiors are gone, no engine or transmission, no suspension, brakes, driveline, no wheels or tires.... totally stripped & not usable.

I’d say there are two less DH’s ..... that would make the total 28 & not 30. What do you think?
