We got our 50th registration today on the GMMG Registry Forum Board. It is none other than notable car collector Charley L. from Woodland, CA. Charley was the original owner of the Daytona Yellow 2002 Phase III ZL-1 Supercar and at the Berger Chevrolet ZL-1 Supercar Special Delivery in May of 2003, he also had his #3 1969 Daytona Yellow COPO ZL-1 Camaro there too. Charley has owned many collectable cars including the 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang Super Snake. This car had the awesome 427 cubic inch side oiler engine that developed a staggering 520 h.p. This car was the only Shelby GT500 to wear a unique three band variation of Guardsman Blue LeMans stripes with one fat middle stripe flanked by two skinny ones. Charley purchased this car in 2002 and sold it a few years thereafter. This is a one of one car. Charley also owned a custom built 1st generation Camaro nicknamed "The Mule" which he drove on at least a couple of Hot Rod Magazine Power Tours as well.
Anyway………………..Charley brings a very high level of knowledge to our forum board and I would like to be the first to WELCOME Charley here. Charley also owns the Supercar Registry Forum Board (http://www.yenko.net).
Welcome to the new GMMG Registry forum! Hopefully this new forum should be easier for everyone to register, login, navigate, and post!

Isn't that the # 3 1969 ZL1 built that was once owned by Bill Porterfield?
Might be. It was the only one from Berger that was unrestored Daytona Yellow. :)Thats got to be the one. I saw it, along with the # 1 Zl1 at the Camaro Nationals years ago in Dearborn, MI. when Porterfield owned them. Also there, was a complete, new - never fired ZL1 motor on a engine stand.......
I've got a VHS tape of the whole event somewhere - Now I just gotta find it........
